Order Cancellations - Returns - Re Stocking Fees

As stated in our General Terms and Conditions, it is our intent to delight our customers with consistently high quality products and services. However, we understand that there are reasons for orders to be cancelled and items to be returned and we will extend every courtesy and capability to meet the desires and wishes of our clients and customers. However, we are an organization based on profitable procedures and methods and as such, we can not simply "loan" customers products for inspection before making a final purchasing decision.

If a customer wishes to inspect a product or is not sure what a specific product is we will make all effort to provide such information or inspection in a controlled manner - prior to the purchase at no additional charge.

After a customer receives a product and wishes to cancel or return the product, we offer a specific "cooling off period' of five (5) days where the client and one of our senior managers discusses either by telephone or via email the issues related with the product and the customers desire to return the product. To activate this "cooling off period" the client shall activate our Escalation Procedure.

Cancellation and change requests shall be in writing by the client and are not approved or valid until acknowledged in writing by Michael Arthur Johnson Company back to the client. Cancellations requests will be considered up to 48 hours prior to shipment.

Cancellations prior to shipment are subject to a cancellation service charge but not not normally incurred unless considerable time and effort is invested in producing a product specifically for a specific client.

Clients credit card will be charged at time of Order Entry which is usually 24 to 48 hours before actual shipment.

All shipments are normally sent via Federal Express from California USA or from Riga, Latvia, European Union by Federal Express or Latvian AIR POST. If you have a FED EX shipping account number enter it in the comments section on the order form and we will charge your card the actual shipping charges and you will receive your company discount.

Shipments by UPS, DHL, & USA POST are not possible. Federal Express is our ONLY method of shipment in the USA. Will call pickups are also not accepted.

Collect shipments are not accepted by any method.

After shipment, orders may be cancelled and items must be returned for credit to be offered.

Returns are subject to restocking charges normally US$50.00 but may be higher depending on damage and condition of returned items. This simply covers our costs. There is no intent to make a profit if you have a desire to return a product.

As products are shiped from various locations around the world, they must be returned to the appropriate location. Therefore, Returns must be approved prior to shipping returned items back to Michael Arthur Johnson Company.

Customer is not authorized to return any materials until return authorization agreement is finalized. A Return Authorization ship to address will be provided to the customer.

All return shipping charges are to be paid by the client unless other arrangements are discussed and agreed in writing.

Defective materials will be replaced or repaired at Michael Arthur Johnson Company's discretion. Shipping charges on return or replacement of defective materials to be paid by Michael Arthur Johnson Company.
